Message in a Bottle Top Winners
Earlier this year, we launched a nationwide recycling programme, Message in a Bottle Top, to encourage children aged 5 to 11 years to recycle plastic waste.
Working alongside The National Schools Partnership (NSP), we built resources for schools across the UK to inspire key stage one and two pupils to consider the amount of plastic waste being leaked into the environment.
Participating schools were encouraged to take part in a competition to collect and repurpose their own bottle tops into beautiful art murals and sculptures; showcasing the creatures they’d love to protect from plastic pollution.
We’ve selected our top ten finalists from more than 100 competition entries. One of the lucky schools will be awarded with a playground makeover worth £5,000 and two runners will be presented with tablets worth over £100.
